Therapy Services South West C.I.C, designed and tailored for you
Therapy Services South West
Therapy Services South West C.I.C is a mental health and wellbeing organisation, on a mission to empower people from
neurodiverse communities to thrive.
We are founded, managed and staffed by therapists
with lived experience of the systemic oppressions, we seek to challenge, placing your uniqueness, individuality and intersectionality at the heart of our work.
We believe that everyone should be able to access the help they need. As a community interest company (CIC) and social enterprise, the majority of our profits will always go towards providing disadvantaged individuals, young people, parents/carers and families, with psychological, emotional and social support.
We work with a neuro-affirming model. To be neurodiversity affirming is to believe every
person is equally worthy and valuable. Neurological differences in how we think, feel,
behave and relate to others is what makes each of us unique and human.
Services
Our services for adults, young people and children are adapted and tailored to the needs of neurodivergent individuals and families.
Children and Young People
At Therapy Services South West C.I.C we use in-depth counselling skills and non-verbal techniques such as art, play, drama and music therapies in one-to-one sessions to enable children and young people to express themselves, work through difficulties, release anxiety and improve their self-esteem.
Adult
Therapy provides a safe and confidential space for you to talk to a trained professional about your issues and concerns. Your therapist will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and of others.
Groups
Our adult groups, a safe gathering of people facing common issues to share what’s troubling them. Through the sharing of experiences, they’re able to offer support, encouragement, and comfort to the other group members, and receive the same in return.
Our children and young people groups provide a safe space where children have fun, make friends, and develop their communication skills, confidence and social and emotional wellbeing.
I like coming here. I can be quiet but still be heard. If I don't use words because sometimes they get stuck I can show them by using the art stuff.
